Hey plant lovers! Mark your calendars because the Malvern RHS Spring Festival is once again hosting the incredible Festival of Houseplants with Green Rooms Market, and trust me, you do NOT want to miss this year's celebration of all things green and gorgeous!
As many of you know, your friendly neighbourhood macrame enthusiast from Hot Pink Hangers had the absolute pleasure of being part of the very first Houseplant Festival at Malvern last year, and let me tell you – it was an absolute sensation! Hosted by the amazing Green Rooms Market, the energy was buzzing with fellow plant fanatics. Seriously, the variety of suppliers was mind-blowing! From stunning macrame creations (like mine, wink wink!) to the fascinating world of beneficial bugs, and what felt like every single houseplant species imaginable, it was a true indoor jungle paradise.
This year promises to be even bigger and better! The festival is introducing some exciting new features, including the first-ever RHS-judged Indoor Plant Gardens! I can't wait to see the innovative and inspiring ways people are showcasing their indoor oases.
But that's not all! You can expect the same vibrant atmosphere with over 30 independent houseplant specialists, growers, and botanical designer-makers showcasing their unique treasures. Whether you're on the hunt for a rare and coveted specimen, stylish pots to elevate your plant game, or the perfect growing medium to keep your leafy friends thriving, you're guaranteed to find it here. Plus, get ready to soak up all the wisdom from leading houseplant influencers who will be sharing their top tips and tricks for cultivating a thriving indoor garden.
And guess what? Hot Pink Hangers is thrilled to be returning for our second year! We'll be bringing our signature handmade macrame hangers to perfectly showcase your beloved houseplants. But that's not the only exciting news! This year, I'll also be hosting macrame workshops every day from Friday! That's right, you'll have the chance to get hands-on and learn the beautiful art of knotting to create your very own stylish plant hanger. It's the perfect way to add a personal touch to your green corner and learn a new skill!
Last year, I loved attending the fantastic presentations and talks from various specialists. We learned about everything from keeping those pesky pests at bay to the secrets of successful plant collecting, and even got creative with a terrarium workshop. This year, I'm so excited to be on the other side, sharing my passion for macrame with you all!
